BEYOND excited about this...

My take on the new album:
Lovely job Sufjan! Although some of the songs last pretty much all day, it is only in true Sufjan fashion that I support the whole CD as one of my favorites so far.
Top songs:
1. I Want To Be Well
2. I Walked
3. Too Much
4. Age of Adz
5. Futile Devices
Yes, it's true, a few of the songs could have been split up into several (in reference to Impossible Soul), but like I said before, it's all in Sufjan style.

Love love love.
And that had been...A Paisleycue Review.

Stay tuned for my vlog on this one.

The reason I am in New York City.

I came up to this hectic city because I was going to intern with their record label. However, due to a change of heart (ask me about it sometime), I chose to pursue another route. Regardless, they are the sole reason I even considered it in the first place

So,thank you boys.

Well Hello There

Hi world.

My name is Kristi and I love two things: finding and sharing new music and paisley (hence the title).

My love for music began while in high school thinking I was cool by liking a few obscure bands. However, this love affair quickly advanced me and before I knew it I was a full fledged music nerd throughout college hosting a weekly radio show on Clemson University’s radio station WSBF (titled “Folk Ya”) and attending every show I could manage. This obsession lead me to where I am today, in a hot pursuit to work in the music industry. I am currently located in the big city and attempting to follow my dream. Interning with the Bowery Presents and attending every show I possibly can. Since I graduated a lost the one

Side note: If you live in the New York area and care to join me on any one these ventures–just shoot me a note. :)

I created this blog as an outlet for my music findings (since I graduated I no longer have a radio show to do that sort of thing). I just like to do it in person. So if you choose to press play on my videos you will be enlightened with my review of my latest finding. I do not mean for this to be some sort of pretentious blog where I criticize anyone or band trying to do their thing, just a way to playfully share my music findings with everyone.

Here we go with “A Paisleyque Review”…

love always and forever more,

Kristi
